Wow here we are a brand new day and I'm a little emotional and in tears as I type. Really Issac is so strong I'm the one who tends to get a little weak at times, but it will never fail where I am weak the Lord makes me strong. So a few things going on, and really I type on my blog not to inform the world of my trials and struggles but to share how the Lord helps me over come these struggles.......... So I have decided to go through with the epidural next Thursday I was very apprehensive but honestly I just can't live with this pain anymore....does that mean I'm giving up on God "NO!", I have learned that God wants us to use wisdom and has given us doctors to help us, that's one of the many reasons I have chosen to give Isaac his treatments as well and it has helped him tremendously. My recovery is only suppose to need 24 hours and within 3-5 days I should start feeling a lot better. Another really big thing is we have decided to Rod Isaac's arms, I was faced with this decision over a year ago and due to the trauma it causes my family, and the pain I see him go through I put it off, but honestly that's just not fair to him. I truly feel that this will give him a better chance of being mobile and I faithfully know within time he will be pulling himself up to walk. This is such a hard process and takes so much out of my whole family emotionally and physically but how can I not do this when he is just so strong through it. Please pray for Isaac and my family as his surgeries are very hard and heart breaking for us all. On the other hand its always an awesome outcome and he is so much better after, not to mention his arms will be straightened and he will be able to do so much more. This will be happening within the next couple of months. On another note his treatment went fairly well and today he is doing great, wiggling all over as normal :o) We had another late appointment and didn't get checked in till after 5, he ordered his usual fav. Grilled cheese. They got him in a bed checked his vitals and numbed his legs for the iV. Then they came in started the IV but couldn't get it going nor could they draw his blood from the first one, so they tried again AMEN they got it on the 2nd try, this is a first for Isaac......it never fails they always end up poking my poor baby a min. of 5 times (no Joke) Anyhow they got the IV but couldn't get the labs for it he did great for the several hours on skype, playing with all his toys, taking pics and making video for his dear friend Krystal. Then it was time to flush the Iv and take it out. Last thing we had to do was try and get the labs again.....first time was a no go :o( he was upset by this point thinking they would have to keep poking him. They tried a 2nd time and they got it. Yes!!!!! He was all Jammied up, smiled for one more pic and was asleep within 10 minutes of our ride home. It seemed like it took forever but every second of it is worth it because through this process his bones are becoming stronger. I will never give up I will keep pushing through and through for the Lord truly is my strength , I know I say it a lot but it's the truth and a reminder which helps me to get through the trials that come my way. Along with prayer and studying his word, for without him I am nothing and for without him I can do nothing. I am blessed beyond all measure with 6 beautiful children who I love dearly. Frankie for his sweet side and that persistence even though it may drive me crazy at times ;o) and reanna for her beauty, independence, and wonderful soul, Alyssa for her brilliance and happy spirit, Matthew for his tender moments and strong willed self (ughh sometimes :o) Mia for her joy and sweet smile and Isaac for his strength and courageous smile. They are all so precious to me and bless me daily. My children are true gifts from above and I am honored to be their mommy. Well that's it for now, I pray I didn't bore you or put you to sleep ;o) Stay strong in the Lord and give all you have to him. ~Rocky Rock the Lord is my strength!
